This Shipping Policy applies to all online orders placed through YamiRaku.
YamiRaku is a specialty Japanese-focused, Asian-inspired snack shop. Because we sell packaged food items and limited-rotation products, our shipping policy is designed to be clear, fair, and realistic for a small business.
Order Processing Time
• Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days
• Processing time does not include weekends or holidays
• During launches, promotions, or high-volume periods, processing times may be slightly longer
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
• We ship using major carriers such as USPS, UPS, or other comparable services
• Shipping methods and costs are calculated at checkout
• All delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed
Shipping Destinations
• We currently ship within the United States
• International shipping availability may change in the future
If international shipping becomes available, additional customs fees, taxes, or duties may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
Food & Temperature Sensitivity
YamiRaku sells packaged snacks that may be sensitive to heat, cold, or handling.
• We are not responsible for damage caused by temperature exposure during transit
• Melted chocolate, softened candy, or texture changes are considered shipping risks
• We recommend choosing faster shipping options during warm weather

Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
• We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect or incomplete addresses
• Orders returned to us due to address errors may require additional shipping fees to resend
Shipping Delays & Carrier Issues
• We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather disruptions, customs holds, or other events outside our control
• Once a package is handed to the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer
• Tracking information will be provided when available
Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages
• YamiRaku is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier
• If a package is lost in transit, we may assist with filing a carrier claim when applicable
• We do not guarantee replacements for lost or stolen packages
Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged:
• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging
• Do not discard items until we review your claim
Damage claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Returns & Refunds
Due to food safety regulations:
• All food sales are final
• Shipping fees are non-refundable
• Refunds or replacements are only considered for defective, damaged, or incorrect items
